There is no division between the ministry and the medical work. The physician should labor equally with the minister, and with much earnestness and thoroughness for the salvation of the soul, as well as for the restoration of the body.

The MAH chaplaincy department is responsible for all religious activities in the hospital and campus at large. It is the direct custodian of the spiritual life of the residents, workers and patients on the MAH campus.
The Chaplaincy department continues to distribute literature to patients and staff at MAH. There are several outlets which are used to distribute this literature; these are the OPD literature stand and some of the hospital departments that have a high flow of traffic – X-ray and pharmacy.
The Chaplaincy department participates in the planning and facilitation of the community service campaigns. The hospital further organised health expos and clean-up campaigns around the area as well.

MAH operates with a capacity of 150 beds and a comprehensive range of health-care services, primarily to the approximately 100,000 people living in the 264 villages in its health service area, but many patients come from all other parts of the country as well.
