Chaplaincy Department Strengthened Through Generous Support

Appreciation and encouragement cards prepared for patients and staff.

The Chaplaincy Department at Maluti Adventist Hospital has been strengthened through the generous support of Pastor Clifford Herman, whose contribution has enhanced both spiritual care resources and ministry outreach within the hospital.

During his time with the department, Pastor Herman became closely familiar with the daily needs and challenges involved in providing consistent spiritual support to patients and staff. Moved by the department’s mission of care and compassion, he offered meaningful practical assistance that helped strengthen key areas of ministry.

As part of this support, the department received 950 appreciation and encouragement cards that will be distributed to patients and staff. These cards carry messages of hope, gratitude, and spiritual reassurance, reminding each recipient that they are valued, supported, and cared for during their healing journey.

The department also received a sound system to support worship services, chapel programmes, and patient ministry activities. The equipment includes 12 speakers, one microphone, one amplifier, and two long connecting cables (10m each). The system is not yet operational; however, once installed, it is expected to greatly enhance communication and improve worship experiences across the hospital’s various ministries.

In addition to these contributions, the department also received financial support to strengthen ongoing chaplaincy operations and ministry activities. This support will help enhance spiritual care services and ensure continued assistance to patients, families, and staff members.

The Chaplaincy Department expresses sincere appreciation to all partners and supporters, including Pastor Clifford Herman, whose contribution played a key role in providing both the appreciation cards and the sound system. His support has helped strengthen the department’s capacity to deliver meaningful spiritual care within the hospital.

Through these combined efforts, the Chaplaincy Department remains committed to being a source of hope, comfort, and faith, supporting holistic healing beyond physical care.
